Backup and monitoring developer PHD Virtual Technologies has announced its latest version of its Virtual Backup backup appliance.

PHD Virtual Backup 6.1 adds features designed to improve recovery times, reduce and eliminate downtime, and ensure compliance. Among those features are:

Rollback Recovery – Users are enabled to get their virtual machine back in minutes.
PHD Instant Recovery – Full/Incremental backup modes enable back up network shares or deduplication appliances and leverage PHD Instant Recovery to decrease RTO and test backups.
Reporting Enhancements – Improved reporting capabilities of the VBA.
†Job Copy – Backup jobs can be selected and copied.
