Pax8 has rolled out a trio of strategic initiatives aimed at helping MSPs stay competitive, secure, and future-ready. The company’s latest moves — unveiled at the Pax8 Beyond 2025 conference in Aurora, CO — span cybersecurity, partner enablement, and long-term transformation through AI.
Here’s a breakdown of the company’s big announcements from June 9.
Check Point Portfolio Expansion Strengthens Pax8 Cybersecurity Offerings
The Pax8 Marketplace is getting a major security upgrade. Through an expanded partnership with Check Point Software Technologies, Pax8 is giving MSPs access to a wider suite of cloud-delivered, AI-powered tools designed to protect across endpoints, email, mobile, and more.
New solutions available to partners include:
- Harmony Email and Collaboration: Uses advanced AI and human intelligence to stop email-based threats
- Harmony SASE: A fully integrated secure access service edge platform with Zero Trust, SD-WAN, and mobile protection built in
- Harmony Endpoint and Harmony Mobile: Offers unified client protection for today’s hybrid and remote environments
- Infinity MDR: Brings 24/7 monitoring and incident response from Check Point’s expert team
These tools are accessible through the Check Point Infinity Platform, a consolidated interface built for MSSPs. It enables fast threat detection, centralized visibility, and efficient response across environments.

Nick Heddy
“If you want to understand just how much the world is changing, security is a great place to start,” Pax8 President and Chief Commerce Officer Nick Heddy said during his opening keynote address at Pax8 Beyond. “In an era where threats are more sophisticated than ever, security is essential.”
For MSPs seeking to strengthen security portfolios without increasing operational complexity, the expanded integration offers a streamlined, all-in-one path to protect clients at scale.
Rob Rae to Lead Pax8 Partner Experience Team as Engagement Initiatives Expand
Pax8 is strengthening its commitment to partner success by revamping its partner experience team. The team now will be led by channel influencer and Pax8 Beyond master of ceremonies Rob Rae, as corporate vice president of community and partner experience. Rae will report to Chief Experience Officer Craig Donovan and oversee new efforts to elevate engagement and feedback.
Key program enhancements include:
- The launch of the Pax8 Partner Voice Network, designed to collect and share actionable partner insights, with initial enrollment open at the Beyond 2025 conference.
- A refreshed format for the Partner Advisory Council, which will now fall under Rae’s direction.
- A more interactive Facebook community, where Pax8’s partner experience team will engage directly with MSPs for real-time support and dialogue.
“As we continue to try to build a better Pax8, it always has to be centered on partners,” Donovan said during a June 8 press briefing at Pax8 Beyond. “Everything we do has continued to evolve with our partners. And there is no better voice of the partner than Rob Rae. So, Rob has recently accepted a new responsibility to lead the partners for the organization for Pax8, which includes all of our programs, loyalty, enablement — all those sorts of things.”
This structural update ensures those voices now have even more influence in shaping future offerings and experiences.
Pax8 Research Report Envisions the Rise of the ‘Managed Intelligence Provider’
Pax8 introduced a visionary new research report titled The Agentic Inflection Point. The report explores how agentic AI systems, capable of autonomous decision-making and execution, will redefine business operations for SMBs. It’s set to transform the role of the MSP.
The centerpiece of the report is the concept of the managed intelligence provider (MIP). In this model, MSPs evolve beyond IT management to orchestrate and govern AI agents that drive measurable business outcomes.

Scott Chasin
“This transformation won’t be digital, but agentic,” Pax8 CEO Scott Chasin said during the June 9 Pax8 Beyond keynote. “Let me be very direct: In five years’ time, the very nature of work will be unrecognizable. We’re entering a world where humans will no longer just do the work, but will manage the outcomes of work done by intelligent agents.”
Key insights include:
- Four agentic labor tiers have emerged, from basic chatbots to complex digital workforces.
- New monetization models are aligned with outcomes, workflows, or agent activity.
- AI-built SMBs are forecast. These businesses would be AI-native from Day 1, using automation to operate at enterprise speed with lean teams.
To help partners make the leap, Pax8 is developing an agent marketplace, orchestration tools, and integration frameworks tailored to this shift. The company aims to give MSPs the tools to lead — not lag — during this next AI-powered wave of disruption.
“With AI reshaping how companies operate, we’re witnessing business models evolve in real-time … The future is right here. It’s yours to shape,” Heddy said during the June 9 keynote.
A Deeper Commitment
With deeper cybersecurity, smarter engagement programs, and a roadmap for AI transformation, Pax8 is signaling its promise to help MSPs win in both today’s and tomorrow’s economy.
