TP-Link Introduces the Omada Business Wireless Solution with High-Power Indoor/Outdoor Access Points

TP-Link, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, has unveiled the Omada Business Wireless System – a complete networking solution designed for businesses where high-bandwidth WiFi is needed both indoors and out, such as schools, resorts, retail stores and more.

TP-Link, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, has unveiled the Omada Business Wireless System – a complete networking solution designed for businesses where high-bandwidth WiFi is needed both indoors and out, such as schools, resorts, retail stores and more. The Omada Business Wireless System includes the OC200 Cloud Controller, free centralized controller software, a mobile app, and 802.11n/802.11ac indoor and outdoor Wave 2 access points.

A key feature of the Omada solution is the new OC200 Cloud Controller, a hardware controller that radically simplifies the set-up and maintenance process. It automatically discovers new or existing devices, shortening the time and expense companies need to spend deploying their networks. The OC200 Cloud Controller is a free cloud-based solution that can be accessed both through a computer or the Omada mobile app, making it perfect for on-the-go management of large-scale networks.

The Omada Business Wireless solution also makes the sign-on process easy and intuitive. Omada access points offer a customizable portal that enables guests to sign in via Facebook or SMS authentication. This not only simplifies the sign-in process, but also provides businesses an opportunity to raise their social profile.

Additionally, the new Omada solution offers the most updated wireless communications. The Omada’s EAP200 series pushed more data to more users simultaneously with Wave 2 AC WiFi technology – a feature that many of installed access points in the market lack.

“Business WiFi solutions are often costly and inefficient,” said Vincent Tu, senior product manager, B2B, TP-Link. “If you look at the existing business router market, many companies charge a subscription fee every month just to use their software. With TP-Link’s Omada Business Wireless Solutions, businesses that need managed wireless systems are able to purchase hardware with a limited lifetime warranty and benefit from license-free software, allowing their technology to grow with the business.”

In contrast with other B2B networking products, the Omada series of products are distinguished by their competitive pricing, license-free software subscription, as well as a limited lifetime warranty for all Omada products.

TP-Link’s complete Omada Business Wireless System will be available in mid-November with the launch of OC200.
