According to a recently published report from Dell’Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the telecommunications, networks, and data center IT industries, All Flash Array Systems revenue is forecast to reach almost $12 B by 2022. However, this revenue growth will cannibalize all-disk and hybrid storage systems.
“The segment of the market with the highest projected growth is All Flash Array Systems due to its technical maturity and continuous advancement in storage and networking,” said Jimmy Yu, Vice President at Dell’Oro Group. “However, we believe a large portion of the All Flash Array revenue growth will be driven by a market shift away from Disk and Hybrid Arrays. We forecast All Flash Array revenues to grow at a 13 percent five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) and predict that it will surpass Disk and Hybrid Array revenues by 2021,” Yu continued.
