Open Mesh, whose cloud-managed WiFi access points and switches are deployed in more than 100,000 networks worldwide and serve millions of users daily, has introduced the†A42 access point,†the company’s†first to feature 802.11 AC Wave 2 technology.† Equipped with a quad core processor and employing dual radios (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with MU-MIMO transmission technology, the A42 can support twice the number of devices and deliver up to 3X more data throughput than the previous model.
The A42 builds on Open Mesh’s A†Series form factor that offers an almost unlimited number of indoor and outdoor mounting options, reducing the complexity of installations. The access point includes ceiling, wall, pole, Ethernet jack and desktop mounting kits and is outdoor rated.
