ZeroStack, Inc.,†creators of the self-driving on-premises cloud, announced a software defined infrastructure that offers SaaS-delivered multi-cloud container operations so developers can have a consistent platform no matter where they are located while reducing operational complexity and costs.
Developers are increasingly distributed across geographies, and they need a common platform to reduce costs and ensure efficient processes for software development. Unfortunately, geographic separation encourages developers to adopt their own tool sets and hardware. ZeroStack’s Intelligent Cloud Platform is hardware independent and the Z-Brain SaaS portal can centrally operate infrastructure across multiple sites, so it enables consistent processes regardless of the hardware used. As a result, developers can create secure private workspaces and build a personal environment suited for them while retaining the ability to interconnect and share their work across sites and teams.
ZeroStack’s Z-AppStore delivers automated deployment and configuration of Kubernetes through pre-defined templates and is extensible to tools like Docker Swarm. In addition, the Z-AppStore has more than 40 development tools developers can use with point-and-click provisioning. The ZeroStack solution provides multi-site management and public cloud connectivity unlocking developers to build, test, and deploy containerized applications to the location and target site/cloud of their choice.
