To help its partners “capture immediate opportunities and position them for future growth,” Juniper Networks Inc., the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based networking giant, has a new focus on the Elite level of its Partner Advantage program. The intent is to help drive sales of software and services, says Matthew Hurley, corporate vice president, global channels and field marketing.
Elite, the program’s top tier, now encompasses five categories: Next Gen, Rising Star, Federal Partner (a U.S. program only), Cloud Services Provider, and Volume Partner (also a U.S.-focused program). “Adding new categories within the tier allows us to place partners at the optimal part of the program that works best for their business needs,” says Hurley. “This segmentation provides partners with the opportunity for continual growth and development, especially when it comes to working with new or emerging technologies and business models.”
In addition, Jupiter is rolling out a rewards program featuring a flexible points system as a reward to partners who continue to invest in the company’s channel community, says Hurley. The program is integrated with Jupiter’s updated Deal Registration System to help partners manage, track, and close deals quickly.
Also updated is the company’s Marketing Concierge tool, which gives partners a choice of one-click marketing programs or more custom-designed campaigns.
