Samsung Electronics America Inc. has added two new touchscreen laptops to its ATIV Book 9 high-end line — the ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin.
The company’s first 4K display notebook, the ATIV Book 9 Pro features a 15.6-inch 4K display (3840×2160) with real-time HDR enhancements, an Intel 6th Generation Core i7 processor (6700HQ), 256GB SSD SATA3, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics (2GB GDDR5).
The ATIV Book 9 Spin two-in-one laptop features a 13.3-inch QHD+ display with real-time HDR enhancements, an Intel 6th Generation Core i7 processor (6500U), 256GB SSD SATA3, and Intel HD Graphics 520 with shared memory. The Spin comes with a 360∞ hinge that supports three usage modes: traditional laptop, tented screen, and tablet.
Both devices include ports for HDMI, headphones, microphones, memory cards, and USBs. Additionally, the ATIV Book 9 Pro features a USB Type C Connector, tailored for a variety of ports and connection to multiple devices.
The ATIV Book 9 Pro is priced at $1,599, while the ATIV Book 9 Spin is priced at $1,399 with expected availability in November 2015.
