Quick Heal Launches New Version of Seqrite Mobile Device Management

The new release of the mobile device management solution includes advanced call, SMS, and network monitoring features.

Network security provider Quick Heal Technologies has launched the latest version of†Seqrite Mobile Device Management†(MDM). Designed to better address the needs of the small to mid-sized enterprise (SME) market, Seqrite MDM aims to help companies more efficiently manage, maintain, and regulate the growing number of smartphones and tablets used on the job.

Featuring a true SaaS approach to mobile device management, the new MDM release is an intuitive cloud-based solution that makes it easy for IT administrators or business owners to manage the security and productivity of all mobile devices deployed within the company’s network.

“As the mobile workforce continues to grow and expand, there must be safeguards in place to make sure network-connected devices are not posing a threat to company networks,” says Farokh Karani, director of North America, sales, and channels, Quick Heal Technologies. “With Seqrite MDM, administrators, and business owners can also make sure their mobile workers are using company-approved apps and features, which not only boosts worker productivity, but also keeps device and mobile usage costs manageable over the long run.”

Key new features in Seqrite MDM include:

  • Network†Data†Monitoring†–†With network data monitoring, admins can view data usage details for all devices on the company network. Device data can include usage over Wi-Fi networks or roaming and mobile data. This data can be analyzed to determine how data bandwidth is being consumed, which applications are using the most data, and the breakout of usage data per device.
  • Call/SMS†Monitoring–†The ability to monitor and audit all incoming and outgoing calls and SMS messages on networked devices enables companies to boost the productivity of these devices.
  • Seqrite MDM†Launcher –†Using the Launcher enables admins to customize how mobile devices function within the business. Apps on the device and built-in device features can be enabled or disabled according to company security policies.

Additionally, Seqrite MDM offers Panoramic Asset Management for comprehensive visibility into details on each mobile device. This feature works to isolate devices that may be violating security policies, posing a threat to the company as well as the potential to expose the network to vulnerabilities.

Seqrite MDM provides cross-platform support for iOS, Android, and Windows phones and can support any number of devices, scaling to meet a company’s needs.
