Ipanema Technologies Launches its First Cloud-Based Service

IpanemaCloud Central Management enables MSPs and telcos to deliver Ipanema as a service and offers businesses a means of managing their Ipanema estate in-house through the cloud.

Ipanema Technologies†has launched IpanemaCloud Central Management, the IT company’s first ever cloud-based service.

This new cloud-based service provides VARs, MSPs, and telcos with access to Ipanema’s platform to quickly deliver Ipanema-based managed services to their customers. They can now easily and safely consume Ipanema technology to guarantee their business-critical application performance anytime, from every place,” says Rogier van der Wal, Ipanema’s vice president cloud-services.

The IpanemaCloud Central Management features include:

  • Availability:†IpanemaCloud is designed to keep continuous operations even in the event of software upgrades.
  • Security:†Complies with regulations and standards like ISO 27001 using secure Service Portal authentication. Optional IPSec VPN tunneling between the customer network and the IpanemaCloud is available.
  • Elasticity & Scalability:†Ipanema operations monitor computing and data space usage and automatically adjust computer resources to the requirements.
  • Release Management:†Management platform is always up-to-date. Each software upgrade is scheduled and automatically carried out by Ipanema staff.
  • Backup:†Daily backup and two weeks’ archiving of configuration and databases.
  • Traceability:†Keeps trace of system and configuration changes.
  • Reversibility:†Moving from the cloud to on-premises, Ipanema can provide users with configuration files, log files, and reports.
