GFI has introduced version 14 of GFI MAX Backup, the latest release of the company’s hybrid-cloud backup and disaster recovery solution.† In version 14, channel pros will find a redesigned HTML-based client designed to improve customer usability and partner manageability, as well as what GFI calls “significant enhancements” to backup and restore performance and scalability.†
The version 14 Backup Manager client, with its new HTML-based user interface, offers enhanced responsiveness and improved user experience, according to GFI. To back up that claim, the company is offering the solution free for 30 days.
In addition to launching version 14 of the GFI MAX Backup solution, the company has started its GFI MAX Backup Training Academy. The hour-long, online course covers the basics behind setting up GFI MAX Backup, the technologies behind it, and how to get the most out of this product for both your business and your clients. The training session ends with an exam; if the channel pro passes it, he or she will receive a certificate, a “not bragging” t-shirt, and a grad cap from GFI MAX Backup.
