Cloud-based website security service provider Incapsula has launched its Web Hosting Partner Program. Aimed at hosting providers and MSPs, the service enables channel pros to become Incapsula reseller partners. Partners will gain resale access to Incapsula’s Web Application Firewall and DDoS Protection offerings.
Incapsula offers websites of all sizes cloud-based enterprise-grade security and performance optimization without installation of hardware and software or changes to the website. By integrating Incapsula’s service as affiliates and resellers, hosting providers can “lower support overhead by protecting hosting infrastructure and customer websites and reduce server load and improve utilization,” states an Incapsula’s press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB.
“Incapsula’s Web Hosting Partner Program enables service providers to extend Incapsula’s security and performance enhancements to their portfolio of customers,” says Marc Gaffan, Incapsula’s co-founder and vice president of marketing.
cPanel & API
In conjunction with the launch, Incapsula has developed a cPanel plugin, made available with its API, to enable hosting providers to easily integrate and provision Incapsula’s service.
Incapsula’s cPanel plugin and API enables:
- Simple Integration – With a single click, hosting providers can integrate Incapsula with their hosting platform, enabling automated provisioning and single sign-on for SMB customers.
- Centralized Management – Hosting providers and customers can view security and performance stats, control account permissions, and manage settings and notifications from an integrated management console.
- Multi-Tenant Design – A reseller portal enables the creation of new customer accounts, remote management of customer security, and performance settings and consolidated billing reports.
