OnForce, an IT service contractor, has launched a new iPhone application for IT service corporations and field technicians. This app, available through the Apple App store, offers efficiency and collaboration benefits through the lifecycle of each service event. According to the company, this app cuts about an hour of admin work a day for field techs.
The OnForce app offers workflow improvement features, including:
- Single-touch, geo-tagged check-in and out
- Directions to job sites with Google maps
- Real-time response to new customer requests
- Complete view of business documents
With this new app, technicians spend less time filing paperwork and searching for service event-related information. OnForce plans to introduce an Android of the OnForce app in early 2012.
