With two all-in-ones and a new ink jet, the printer manufacturer aims to attract SMBs †with printers designed for small office spaces.
SMBs were given three new printer options this week, as Epson America Inc. expanded its WorkForce Pro line of printers.
Epson announced two all-in-ones and an ink jet printer this week. All three printers are ideal for small office spaces. All three are designed to produce cost savings while also producing fast double-sided print speeds.
“The WorkForce Pro series further expands Epson’s line of home office and small business ink jet solutions,” says Rodrigo Catalan, Sr., Epson’s product manager of business ink jets. “Engineered for productivity, all three models offer low running cost for high print volume needs, perform at twice the speed of leading inkjet printers, and boast easy-to-operate features for producing high quality documents.”
All three models will be made available in the channel during the month of September.
TWO NEW ALL-IN-ONES
Epson’s new WorkForce Pro WP-4540 and WorkForce Pro WP-4530 all-in-ones are designed to supply SMBs with high-print volumes as well as speed and flexibility. Businesses will also benefit from Epson’s compatible extra large ink cartridges, which are capable of printing up to 2,400 pages black and 1,200 pages color, according to the printer-maker.
Additional productivity features for the WorkForce Pro all-in-ones include:
- A built-in 30-page automatic document feeder.
- Simple copy features.
- PC-Fax for direct fax from computers.
- Scan-to-PDF for archiving documents and images digitally.
- The ability to upload files directly to a PC via printer’s USB port.
- Built-in Wi-Fi networking.
The WorkForce Pro WP-4540 includes a 580-sheet input capacity. It also offers simple navigation with a 5.8-inch touch panel and 3.5-inch LCD screen. It carries a MSRP of $399.99.
The WorkForce Pro WP-4530 features a 330-sheet capacity with rear feed tray. Its MSRP is slated for $299.99
NEW INK JET PRINTER
The WorkForce Pro WP-4020 ink jet printer delivers fast single- and double-sided print speeds. It is packaged in a sleek industrial design and includes a 330-sheet input capacity.
The WorkForce Pro WP-4020 carries a MSRP of $179.99.
