Panda Security, a cloud security provider, is now offering Panda Cloud Office Protection 5.5, an endpoint security service for SMBs. A cloud-based product that can be managed remotely through its Web console from anywhere, Panda Cloud Office Protection’s new tools include full remote access and desktop sharing capabilities.
Supported remote access tools include TeamViewer, UltraVNC, TightVNC, RealVNC, and LogMeIn. With the infrastructure fully hosted in the cloud, resellers can more easily install the service and manage remote users, without the installation of a remote access add-on. The product also offers group policies for advanced configuration of protection levels, malware and threat reports, and a unified centralized quarantine.
The updated version fully integrates with the Panda Cloud Partner Center, a Web console for partners to manage clients’ security and lifecycle in a central location. Monitoring features also allow partners to boost sales opportunities and revenue by identifying unprotected client, workstations, and servers.
