Xerox Corp.’s solid ink multifunction printers (MFPs) provide SMBs with low-cost everyday color printing. Now, Xerox has added three new MFPs to the lineup, each built on the ColorQube platform.
Xerox hopes SMBs will be attracted to the cost-savings associated with company’s Hybrid Color Pricing Plans available with the Xerox ColorQube 9300 Series. These plans charge only for the amount of color on a given page.†
FEATURES
The cartridge-free MFPs print and copy at speeds up to 55 pages per minute (ppm) in color, 60 ppm in black and white, and scan as fast as 60 impressions per minute in color. Employees can easily print from and scan to a memory stick or thumb drive via the USB port located on the side of the MFP or via mobile printing.
Solid ink produces consistent color prints, regardless of media type, with intuitive features like Color by Words, a color-editing tool that allows for accurate and vibrant colors from the first print.
The MFPs also offer security features. For instance, an image overwrite electronically “shreds” data on the MFP’s hard drive while 256-bit encryption protects information flowing through the device. Network authentication also prohibits unauthorized access by validating user names and passwords.††
In addition, the ColorQube 9300 Series is Energy Star qualified and generates up to 90 percent less consumable and packaging waste than comparable laser devices.
