ConnectWise Capital and CharTec Announce Joint Venture
Hardware-as-a-Service provider CharTec gains financing for its innovative solution, to be sold through the IT channel.
ConnectWise Capital, the funding arm of ConnectWise, a provider of professional automation software, announced a joint venture with CharTec, a complete “Hardware as a Service” (HaaS) provider in Bakersfield, Calif. The CharTec HaaS program enables IT service companies to offer computer hardware and software to end users with no upfront capital investment.
CharTec is the first recipient of funding from ConnectWise Capital, which will incubate innovative solutions to be sold exclusively through the IT channel.
“Hardware is often the ‘missing piece’ of many managed service offerings,” says Alex Rogers, CharTec CEO. “We make it possible for IT service companies to obtain custom equipment and licensing to sell to their clients. We also provide sales/marketing training, warranty replacement, and help desk services.”
Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
