D&H's Web Site Features New 24/7 SMB Guide

In an exclusive interview, D&H Distributing co-president Dan Schwab says the interactive guide highlights all the products D&H sells that are "a great fit for small offices." By Geoffrey Oldmixon

The D&H Distributing web site has been given a significant SMB sales improvement this month. Specifically, the web site now features an SMB Guide that is available to partners looking to spec out products specifically for SMBs clients.

In an exclusive interview with Channel Pro-SMB, the distributor's co-president Dan Schwab said the interactive SMB guide was created in order to help VARs approach their SMB clients with products and "drive the upgrade cycle within that business."

"We actually just created on our website a new SMB guide," Schwab explains. "It’s an interactive guide, with 24/7 access, that highlights all the products that we sell that are a great fit for small offices. It suggests solutions for our reseller universe."

Indeed, the guide walks VARs through several small business scenarios on two different virtual “floors” of an office building, identifying solutions that can be assembled and marketed for each setting. The guide illustrates the ways in which products can be sold together within various verticals.

The new interactive guide is located behind the firewall at www.dandh.com, and it is available now for the distributor's channel partners.

The SMB Guide is simliar to D&H’s Digital Home Guide, an interactive PDF for consumer electronics (CE) dealers and retailers. The SMB guide, however, is interactive online. It's also available to partners any time, every day.

According to Schwab, D&H Distributing's interactive guide for SMBs is one more way the distributor can support channel pros in the SMB space. "We’ve always been a small business distributor," he says. "This is just part of our ongoing initiative to make sure our partners are always educated and always integrating new and innovative solutions to differentiate themselves."
