ChannelPro Network and its IoT Playbook brand are partnering with the upcoming Channel Partners Virtual 2021: Accelerating Evolution event taking place online March 2 to 4. The conference is expected to bring together more than 100 industry-leading speakers, 2,000-plus attendees, and over 50 key suppliers, master agents, and distributors.
Conference sessions will focus on pivotal topics and opportunities for MSPs, VARs, agents, and integrators such as business best practices, 5G, IoT, sales and marketing strategies, SD-WAN, and security. Tracks include Business of the Channel, Emerging Technology, and The Future of IoT.
Rich Freeman (pictured), founding and executive editor of the ChannelPro Network and IoT Playbook, will be leading three Channel Partner Peer Perspectives sessions, one-on-one conversations with successful channel pros on the following topics:
- Access Control – Corey Kirkendoll, CEO of 5K Technical Services, a Dallas-based information services and tech firm serving SMB customers, will share his organization’s success and lessons learned in the IoT and 5K market. Specifically, he will detail how his firm is deploying automated COVID-19 era access control systems that help businesses determine if people entering office buildings are running a fever.
- Home Automation and IoT – Mike Bloomfield, president of Tekie Geek, a leading IT services and solution provider in Staten Island, N.Y., will discuss the tools and techniques his organization uses to help clients add automated touch and voice controls for their lights, music, thermostats, locks, and more.
- Video Surveillance – Luis Alvarez, CEO of Salinas, Calif.-based Alvarez Technology Group and one of Southern California’s leading technology providers and a pioneer in IoT solutions, will provide details of a solution that combines internet cameras with AI to send real-time alerts about suspicious behavior outside a company’s building.
In addition to a variety of other sessions, the three-day event will include a virtual expo featuring players in the information and communication technology space, keynotes presented by experts and leaders in the channel, and Channel Partners Thunderdomes and the 2021 Debate Series.
