Aerohive Networks (NYSE: HIVE), a Cloud-Management leader, announced increased scale and feature support for its on-premises solution, local HiveManager cloud-management, cementing its leadership position in providing customers the most choice and flexibility in deployment options. Aerohive offers public, private, and local cloud-management deployment options, with the ability to mix and match options and easily move between options, both from a license and hardware perspective.
Using the latest technologies from its public and private HiveManager microservices based cloud-management architecture, Aerohive’s local cloud virtual appliance now provides scale for up to 5,000 managed devices. Small-to-medium enterprises can leverage the increased capacity to expand their locally managed networks or offer further scale through Aerohive’s private cloud-management option that scales to 1+ million managed devices or Aerohive’s public cloud global footprint with Regional Data Centres (RDC) in the United States, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, and India that all scale to 1+ million managed devices.
With Aerohive delivering comparable capabilities across all its deployment options, customers benefit from the same HiveManager functions, including Aerohive’s latest machine learning based Client 360, IoT device detection and characterization, and support for the next-generation 802.11ax access points, regardless of which deployment option they choose.
