A new line of products and services by Avaya seeks to improve their versatility while enhancing the vendor’s competitive standing in UC cloud computing.

The new program bundles security, backup, and eLearning products into standard Office 365 plans at no extra cost.

At the final leg of the 2018 tour, MSPs, VARs, and other attendees spent two days in business building sessions then celebrated their picks for the best of the best at the ASCII Cup party.

Founded by veteran channel pro Michael Fraser (pictured), the system seeks to help current and would-be cloud service providers with limited experience stand up, configure, and manage complete online environments without first hiring a costly team of experts.

The new offering is designed to help larger numbers of partners engage in an enablement program previously available only via consultant-led, face-to-face engagements.

The two-day educational and networking event touched on hot topics like the Internet of Things and and included business continuity lessons learned from Hurricane Harvey.

The vendor also plans to leverage its parent company’s expansive portfolio of network management systems to help MSPs enjoy single-pane-of-glass control over the ever-widening array of onsite and offsite solutions sharing SMB infrastructures today.

The two-day educational and networking event featured an agenda geared to help MSPs grow their businesses.

The newest addition to the ConnectWise product family, which currently provides centralized control over cloud computing solutions, will soon perform similar functions for backup and security solutions from ConnectWise’s vendor partners.

In conjunction with DattoCon18, the cloud distributor says it is enabling MSPs to import data and more from the IT business management platform to the Pax8 Command Console.
