ITEX National Expo and Conference, the largest North American conference for the office and imaging channel, is preparing to deliver its 12th expo of evolving technology, integrated processes, and profitable services to the thousands of attendees, including vendors and resellers. The ITEX 2012 National Expo and Conference will be held April 18-19, 2012, at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Two key topics this year will be managed print services (MPS) and managed services, highlighted by a pre-conference workshop, keynote panel, a dedicated Managed Services Pavilion in the Expo Hall, and MPS and managed services strategy forums.
The opening keynote, “The Converging, Competitive World of IT and Print – How to Survive and Profit,” will feature Randy Dazo (InfoTrends), Todd Thibodeaux (president and CEO of CompTIA), and Trevor Akervik (director of managed services of Marco), and will be moderated by Jon Reardon (InfoTrends). This keynote panel will discuss how the industry is moving to a managed services perspective as the worlds of IT providers and dealers converge, and explore the profitable options in this arena.
The MPS Strategy Forum will offer ten different 50-minute sessions with experts in the field educating attendees on a solid MPS strategy, including training and education. ITEX will also feature the Managed Services Strategy Forum, with four specific courses covering the economics of managed services and more.
