The Distributor Moves into New Segments, Offering Opportunities for Upfront Commissions, Ongoing Annuities, Plus Broadband Sales from Tier 1 Carriers

HARRISBURG, PA – December 6, 2019 – D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, announces it is strengthening its UCaaS (Unified Communications-as-a-Service) offering with the addition of RingCentral to the company’s cloud solutions portfolio. RingCentral is the provider of hosted all-in-one phone, video conferencing, team messaging, and contact center solutions for SMB environments. RingCentral has been added to a D&H linecard that includes cloud solutions provider Intermedia, a hosted UC company offering a suite of collaboration, productivity and contact center solutions, enhancing the distributor’s portfolio in the area of unified communications. RingCentral brings powerful new capabilities such as contact center and visual collaboration to the workplace through a scalable, all-in-one platform.

RingCentral delivers a unique sales element to D&H partners by way of upfront commission payments. These commissions are earned in addition to the ongoing monthly annuity payment that partners will receive for as long as the end-user remains a RingCentral customer. Commission-based payments augment the overall value of the sale, all while helping partners build long-term, annuity-based revenues. RingCentral’s dedication to the channel, including access to a dedicated channel team to co-sell with partners to win opportunities, is a key benefit to the D&H and RingCentral partnership.

In addition to RingCentral’s solutions, D&H partners can now also resell broadband services from a comprehensive list of Tier 1 regional telecom, internet, and cable providers, including Verizon, AT&T, CenturyLink, Comcast, Cox, and Spectrum. These bandwidth services will ensure that end-users have ample connectivity to accommodate a modern, versatile unified communications network, and provide critical bandwidth to enhance the user experience for cloud solutions. The ability to bundle broadband services with RingCentral’s UC offerings will also help partners preserve their end-customer relationships, deterring competing providers from capturing that business. All this translates to greater residual services revenues and stronger customer partnerships for D&H solution providers.

“D&H is looking to bring its partners into new spaces, including areas like UC, broadcast, and more collaborative disciplines such as videoconferencing and team meetings software,” said Jason Bystrak, vice president of D&H’s Cloud Business Unit. “We’ve been carefully cultivating partners who can offer the level of resources and support to make it easy for our customers to enter into these segments, regardless of their previous level of expertise in telecom or the UC space. RingCentral fits that mold, while leveraging the power of cloud-based infrastructures to deliver a scalable, integrated, yet easy-to-deploy platform.”

“We’re excited to see D&H Distributing broaden its offerings to new areas of opportunity,” said Melissa Servatdjoo, technology sales manager at Coast to Coast Computer Products Inc. “The more expertise and resources we can leverage from trusted partners like D&H, the easier it is for us to extend our own core competencies and successfully drive sales in verticals we might not have entered as seamlessly. The relationship with RingCentral is a fine example, where we can now manage industry-leading UCaaS services while working with D&H’s team.”

D&H partners can contact their representatives at (800) 877-1200 or visit to become a D&H customer. D&H’s Cloud Solutions page is at Partners can email for more information.
