HarmonyPSA Integrates Expensify into Platform, Providing First-Ever Direct Access to the Popular Expense Tool

By Eliminating Manual Input of Expenses, Harmony Gives Companies Real-time View of Profitability and Expenses, Saving Time and Resources

LONDON—September 17, 2019—HarmonyPSA, the industry’s most comprehensive cloud PSA software, today announced its integration with Expensify, a leading expense management system. HarmonyPSA is the first to enable consultancies and MSPs that use Expensify to categorize and structure their expenses and import that data into HarmonyPSA, simplifying expense handling for companies and helping employees get reimbursed faster. This latest integration advances Harmony’s quest to provide the most comprehensive PSA solution on the market, and further strengthens its platform.†

The first such integration that does not require third-party “translators” or add-ons in order to work, the Expensify integration is designed to be a time and resource-saving, flexible solution for companies and employees who need to track and submit expenses through Expensify, enabled via the Expensify export feature.†

Among other benefits, Harmony allows Expensify users to log expenses into Expensify, either via the Expensify app or a link to the user’s credit card provider; export those expenses to a file using a custom HarmonyPSA export format; import the file into HarmonyPSA where users can add customer and project names, and match those against existing expenses in HarmonyPSA if required. Receipts for expenses imported into Harmony are extracted from Expensify and attached to the HarmonyPSA expense for display on customer invoicing.

“Expensify is an excellent on-the-go addition to HarmonyPSA’s other expensing options, because it removes the guesswork, hassle and resources typically required for handling work-related expenses,” said Timothy Jahn, Partner Development Director at acmeo GmbH, a HarmonyPSA reseller partner. “Harmony very strategically incorporates each new integration, making it one of the most forward- thinking and customer-focused PSA software providers in the market.”†

Harmony offers seamless, simple and free access to Expensify from within the HarmonyPSA platform, and, as with other recent integrations, saves companies and their employees valuable time, particularly those in the field and companies that deal with high volumes of expenses. HarmonyPSA makes it easier to see profitability on a project and the actions and expenses connected to it, ensuring full and accountable invoicing to customers for all relevant expenses.

“There are a growing number of companies that rely on Expensify for expense management, so in addition to the expense handling features already available in HarmonyPSA, we’ve now made our Expensify-using customers’ lives even easier,” said Steve Duckworth, CEO of Harmony Business Systems. “As the number of our customers using large field worker teams increases, our integration with Expensify, which has a well-earned reputation as a great way to track, enter and get expense reimbursement, makes HarmonyPSA an even more obvious choice.”
