Epson has introduced the†SureColor†T5470M, a 36-inch printer and integrated scanner dsigned to provide a multifunction solution for printing, sharing, and saving technical documents. The latest addition to Epson’s SureColor T-Series†line of wide-format printers, the new combination print/copy/scan unit produces A1/D-size prints including blueprints, charts, posters, and more in as little as 22 seconds.

Leveraging Epson’s PrecisionCore†MicroTFP†printhead technology with Precision Droplet Control, the SureColor T5470M is designed to produce clear, sharp images. The integrated scanner supports multi-page scanning and scanning to USB drives. Next-generation UltraChrome†XD2 archival pigment ink, the manufacturer says, delivers vibrant, durable prints.
According to Epson, the SureColor T5470M also features a space-saving case and multiple usability features, including a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen and high-capacity replacement ink cartridges up to 350 ml in size. In addition, the new product supports a range of print options, such as printing from tablets and smartphones.†Advanced network security and encryption helps user protect†sensitive information.
The SureColor T5470M will be available through Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Resellers in September for $5,995 (MSRP). It will come with a standard one-year Epson Preferred Limited Warranty.
Epson added two entry-level models to the SureColor T-Series line last summer.
