CrowdStrike Appoints Matthew Polly as Vice President of Worldwide Business Development and Channels

New strategic role will drive global expansion of the CrowdStrike Elevate Partner Program

CrowdStrike Inc., the leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, announced the appointment of Matthew Polly as vice president of Worldwide Business Development and Channels. With this strategic hire, CrowdStrike reaffirms its commitment to the partner community on the heels of rapid global expansion and growth.

Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Polly served as vice president, Worldwide Alliances, and Business Development at AppDynamics where he grew the organization’s division from the ground up, leading up to Cisco’s acquisition of the business for $3.7B. Prior to AppDynamics, Polly held senior sales positions at Informatica where he built a technology industry vertical sales team and helped exponentially grow sales.

“Matthew’s extensive and proven track record for generating global partnerships in support of aggressive sales goals will be a critical asset for our Elevate Partner Program and worldwide business development efforts,” said Mike Carpenter, president, Global Sales, and Field Operations at CrowdStrike. “I couldn’t be more pleased to welcome him to the CrowdStrike team as we continue to see substantial global demand for the CrowdStrike Falcon†platform.”

“I’m thrilled to help lead CrowdStrike’s rapidly growing partner program and drive impactful initiatives to support and enable our ecosystem,” said Matthew Polly, vice president of Worldwide Business Development and Channels at CrowdStrike. “In my nearly 20 years in this industry, I’ve never seen a more comprehensive, strategic, and innovative technology to help organizations defend against the onslaught of threats at the endpoint. I am incredibly motivated by the CrowdStrike mission to stop breaches and believe CrowdStrike provides a very unique opportunity for like-minded companies to partner with the best in the business to protect our joint customers.”

CrowdStrike’s†Elevate Partner Program†is designed to enable the company’s strategic partner ecosystem to deliver best-of-breed endpoint security, including next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR) and 24/7 managed hunting, with an API-first strategy.

Since its launch, the Elevate Partner program has grown to more than 180 elite partners and partner recruitment efforts have expanded to APAC, EMEA, and Latin America. In addition, investments in partner enablement, training, and certification have been introduced. In the Fall, CrowdStrike will launch its first Partner Advisory Board. Highlighted by an exclusive event sponsored by Capital G and led by CrowdStrike co-founder and CEO George Kurtz, the Advisory board is designed to strategically enhance CrowdStrike and its partners’ joint go-to market efforts to ensure frictionless adoption and integration of CrowdStrike’s solutions across the enterprise.

“We are proud of our strategic partnership with CrowdStrike. We’ve been continually impressed by their compelling combination of next-generation technology and services, with mature and proven go-to market approach, backed by massive global customer demand,” said Alton Kizziah, vice president of Global Managed Services at Kudelski Security. “We look forward to continuing and expanding our relationship to build on our joint infrastructure, customer resources, and capabilities, and decisively change the game in security.”

About CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike is the leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection. CrowdStrike Falcon deploys in minutes to deliver actionable intelligence and real-time protection from Day One. Falcon seamlessly unifies next-generation AV with best-in-class endpoint detection and response, backed by 24/7 managed hunting. Its cloud infrastructure and single-agent architecture take away complexity and add scalability, manageability, and speed. CrowdStrike Falcon protects customers against all cyber attack types, using sophisticated signatureless artificial intelligence/machine learning and Indicator-of-Attack (IOA) based threat prevention to stop known and unknown threats in real time.
