SYNNEX Is Awarded with the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance Contract

The agreement delivers new opportunities to SYNNEX vendor and reseller partners in the public and non-profit sectors.

SYNNEX Corporation, a technology solutions distributor headquartered in Fremont, Calif., announced at its 2016 Inspire conference that it is the first broadline IT distributor to be awarded with the†National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance†(NCPA) contract, a national government purchasing cooperative that works to reduce the cost of goods and services by leveraging the purchasing power of public agencies in all 50 states. By working with SYNNEX’†GOVSolvgroup, qualified resellers can access the NCPA contract through the distributor to sell directly to more than 90,000 agencies nationwide in the public and non-profit sectors.

The agreement delivers new opportunities to SYNNEX vendor partners in verticals including state and local government, K-12 and higher education, healthcare, non-profits, and religious organizations, while allowing resellers to access a variety of nationwide contracts that span the SYNNEX line card.

SYNNEX simplifies the process for resellers by helping them avoid contract solicitation. Once approved through the SYNNEX Dealer Program, qualified resellers are authorized to invoice NCPA members and accept payment on behalf of SYNNEX. Resellers in the SMB space can also team with larger resellers to win NCPA contracts.

“Adding NCPA is a game-changer for our reseller partners, as the agreement allows them to capitalize on an expansive new contract vehicle to win more business in the public and non-profit sectors through SYNNEX,” said SYNNEX’s Eddie†Franklin, vice president, sales, public sector and vertical markets, in a press statement. “Most significantly, NCPA covers 100 percent of the SYNNEX line card, equipping resellers with the ability to win across key verticals and geographic regions regardless of the mandated technology.”

Resellers can also take advantage of support offerings to help grow their business through SYNNEX’ GOVSolv†group, including dedicated sales and development teams; access to tools from the Center for Digital Government and Education to discover and capitalize on state and local government and education opportunities; and a grant program in which experts can help them through the intricacies of the grant process.

Resellers can leverage value-added services through SYNNEX’†SERVICESolv†group, enabling them to pursue and win new business by filling capability gaps with a portfolio of technical services. This enables resellers to build recurring revenue streams and cover wider geographic regions, while accessing engineers who specialize in specific areas within the IT solution stack.
