Thermaltake, a manufacturer of PC cases, power supplies, and cooling solutions, has introduced the Smart DPS G Gold and Bronze digital power supply units (PSU) with Smart Power Management (SPM) System. SPM is a cloud computing platform that tracks and analyzes PC electricity usage, allowing PC modders/users to observe and alter their energy consumption.
The combination of Smart DPS G PSU, DPS G software, and three intelligent platforms – DPS G PC APP 2.0, DPS G Smart Power Management Cloud 1.0, and DPS G Mobile APP 1.0 – enable users to monitor and record the status of power consumption, voltage distribution, and electricity cost at any time, from anywhere via PC or mobile devices.
Additional features of the Smart GPS G Gold and Bronze PSU Series include:
- 32Bit Microcontroller Unit (MCU) from Microchip Technology – The 32Bit Microcontroller Unit is a small computer on a single integrated circuit containing a processor core, memory, and programmable input/output peripherals. MCU can digitally control devices and processes, such as automobile engine control systems and office machines.
- 80 PLUS Gold-Certified/Bronze-Certified and Haswell-Ready – The Gold power supply with DPS G software boasts up to 91 percent efficiency under real-world load conditions, while the Bronze power supply delivers up to 87 percent efficiency. Additionally, the Smart DPS G Series has been optimized to work with Intel’s fourth-generation Haswell processors.
- Flat Modular Cables – The new low-profile, soft cables are built to enhance the airflow as well as improve the thermal performance of the chassis.
- High Current Single +12V Rail
The Smart DPS G Gold series is available in 750W and 650W models. The Smart DPG G Bronze series is available in 700W and 600W models.
