LightCyber Introduces Channel Alliance Program

The company offers security VARs training, tools, and certification for its active breach detection solutions.

LightCyber, a Los Altos, Calif.-based provider of active breach detection solutions, has introduced its Channel Alliance Program for security channel partners, which offers training, tools, and certification. Detecting targeted data breaches has become a top priority for companies, therefore creating a significant opportunity for value-added resellers to help customers evaluate, procure, and implement active breach detection solutions. LightCyber is committed to a 100 percent channel distribution model and will work to ensure proficiency and profitability for its partners.

“Without Active Breach Detection, most companies lack an ability to accurately and efficiently detect an active breach once an intruder has circumvented legacy threat prevention systems and compromised a user account or networked host,” says Jason Matlof, executive vice president, LightCyber. “The new LightCyber Channel Alliance Program can exponentially grow the reach of our active breach detection solutions through a well-equipped and empowered channel that can fast-forward the ability to solve the data breach crisis for more organizations.”

The new partner program includes:

  • Online training for sales and technical sales engineers with competency tests and certification
  • An online lab for simulating a targeted attack and interpreting breach indicators
  • A partner portal that includes digital, co-branded collateral, presentations, promotional items, event materials, and more
  • Co-selling and evaluation support, both on-site and remote, including the availability of evaluation appliances

LightCyber has been supporting security channel partners since it began selling its Magna platform nearly two years ago. Now with a new channel program, the company can expand the number of channel partners it can effectively support.
