Macquarie Telecom has joined Zerto Cloud Disaster Recovery Ecosystem to offer cloud-based disaster recovery (DR) services to its customers, powered by Zerto’s hypervisor-based solution, Zerto Virtual Replication. Joining more than 100 companies in the Zerto partner ecosystem, Macquarie Telecom can now deliver cloud DR services, enabling Australian businesses of all sizes to protect production applications both to the cloud and in the cloud.
“Companies are increasingly interested in leveraging the cloud for data protection, but cloud-based DR for production applications has historically been expensive, complicated and ineffective,” says James Mystakidis, group executive, hosting, Macquarie Telecom. “Thanks to Zerto’s hypervisor-based solution, our customers can now cost-effectively enjoy all the benefits of cloud automation and flexibility while ensuring their mission-critical applications remain protected and available, even in the event of an unplanned outage.”††
The LAUNCH Disaster Recovery offering that Macquarie Telecom delivers is based on Zerto’s Virtual Replication. Companies may choose disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS), protecting applications to the cloud, and/or In-Cloud DR, protecting applications deployed in the cloud and replicated to a secondary cloud datacenter.
