IT distributor, SYNNEX Corporation, has developed a newly enhanced mobile app for INSTEON, creator of home automation and control technology, to be used on Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices. New Age Electronics, a division of SYNNEX Corporation, currently distributes INSTEON products to the retail channel.
The launch of the new mobile app enables SYNNEX and New Age Electronics to provide commercial and retail customers with a mobile solution to monitor home and office automation. With the help of SYNNEX, INSTEON products are also now available from MicrosoftStore.com and will be available from Microsoft retail stores in early July. The INSTEON mobile app is available for download on the Windows and Windows Phone Stores.
INSTEON devices gives users the ability to set up lighting scenes, schedule lights to automatically turn on and off, and monitor their homes via wireless cameras from any mobile device. INSTEON kits and modules allow users to receive notification alerts when doors and windows are opened or closed, or when there is a water leak in the home, all through the Windows and Windows Phone app.
