TP-Link Launches TL-ER6120 Router

The new networking solution is designed for small and medium businesses.

Remember the good old days when one Ethernet port would be perfect for all of your needs? Neither do we. Neither does TP-Link, who has a very interesting networking solution for those larger setups.

That solution is the TL-ER6120 SafeStream Gigabit Dual-WAN VPN Router. This option has plenty of ports for small and medium business, even the ones with a large volume of users. It’s got two gigabit WAN ports, two gigabit LAN ports, one gigabit LAN/DMZ, and a console port.

Perfect for multiple VPN protocols, the TL-ER6120 will support up to 100 IPsec VPN tunnels with a hardware-based VPN engine. Other VPN features include DES/3DES/AES128/AES192/AES256 encryption, MD5/SHA1 authentication, Manual/IKE key management, and Main/Aggressive negotiation modes.

The product also comes packing 4kV lightning protection, as well as security features such as ARP Inspection, DoS Defense, URL/Keyword Domain Filter, Access Control, and more. TP-Link also says that this router offers a hardware DMZ port, which allows users to set up public servers without exposing the internal network. That way, you sould be able avoid any attacks from outside threats.

TP-Link is selling the TL-ER6120 now, with an MSRP of $344.99.
