In its latest remote management and monitoring (RMM) version, 6.3, Kaseya has integrated Symantec Endpoint Protection.
With the Symantec Endpoint Protection Management Plug-in for Kaseya, MSPs are able to provide remote monitoring and management of Endpoint Protection clients in the Kaseya environment.
Key features of the plug-in include:
- Support for latest Kaseya 6.3 version.
- The ability to send Endpoint Protection commands to clients (including Scan, Update, enable/disable protection technologies).
- The ability to monitor licenses and server content with Web services.
- The ability to remotely run LiveUpdate on Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
- Improved scalability of the plug-in for large networks, especially while detecting endpoints and during agent check-in.
In addition, Symantec Backup Exec Management Plug-in for Kaseya now integrates Symantec Backup Exec and the Kaseya RMM platform. This plug-in enables the Kaseya users to remotely monitor the Backup Exec servers in the customer environments from within the Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) console.
Through the use of Kaseya VSA console, this plug-in provides:
- Status of the backup tasks that ran on the Backup Exec servers.
- Active alerts generated on the Backup Exec servers.
- State of the storage devices and amount of space available on the disk-based storage devices that are configured with the Backup Exec servers.
- Various monitoring reports, such as active alerts, backup job history, license usage summary, and discovered machines summary report.
