The new line includes 120mm and 140mm fans, with a variety of visual effects.
Cougar is about to do something pretty cool for all of you gamers and enthusiasts — literally. The company just introduced a new line of LED fans, known as Dual X.
These 120mm and 140mm fans have all of the super-cool visual effects of LED fans. Users can even choose between orange, green, or blue LED-powered transparent blades, as well as black blades with no LEDs. All create super-cool visual effects, but can also cool down even the hottest rig.
Each Dual X fan features nine rigid dual-layer blades for better airflow, air pressure, and decreased wind shear noise. The fans also have Cougar’s own diversion claws, which boast focused airflow and reduced noisy air turbulence. All Dual X models also have an anti-vibration pad, an aero-dynamic design, and rubber fixed pins to quiet down that fan even further.
Cougar says that each Dual X fan also comes packing a Hydraulic Bearing, which has a larger oil storage space than the traditional sleeve bearing design and a loopback-type oil circuit system. That also translates into a closed oil retention design with low-wear, high temperature lubricants, a specially designed axel, and more.
