Roaring Penguin Software, an email filtering provider, is now offering the latest version of its anti-spam and email archiving solution. CanIt 8.1 converts all messages to UTF-8 and can filter spam in non-Western European character sets.
The new release allows CanIt’s Bayesian analyzer to handle any character set, keeping Bayes tokens in UTF-8. CanIT can accurately detect spam in non-ASCII alphabets, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Cyrillic, and accented Latin letters.
CanIt’s clustering technology was also improved, making it easier to add and remove scanner nodes to and from the cluster. This enables users to scale across multiple servers.
