TechSelect, Tech Data’s community of IT resellers, hosted its Fall TechSelect Partner Conference last week, from November 3-6, 2011 at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Orlando, Florida. With more than 350 channel partner attendees, North American partners met to share growth strategies and discuss technology.
The Fall TechSelect Partner Conference featured expert-led and peer-to-peer sessions, including training sessions with vendor partners and business workshops. Partners had the chance to engage in open dialogue with Tech Data’s senior executives, who discussed channel forecasts and internal strategies. Keynote speakers included celebrity Bill Rancic and Reggie Williams, former Cincinnati Bengals player and VP of Disney Sports Attractions.
TechSelect also recognized its members and vendors based on votes from TechSelect members. Winners of the 2011 TechSelect Member and Vendor Achievement Award Winners are:

- Best Member Partner – Michael Kanan, president of Inacomp

TechSelect continued its host-city charitable program by donating $10,000 to Orlando’s Russell Home for Atypical Children, a foundation for children and adults with severe intellectual and physical disabilities.
