Hardware as a Service (HaaS) and sales training provider CharTec has expanded its office space by 10,000 square feet to accommodate the creation of a MSP training facility for specialized sales, technical, and business process training.

CharTec Opens New MSP Training FacilityThe so-called Academy saw its official grand opening June 15-17.

“CharTec’s growth over the year has required greater investment in infrastructure,” states the company in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB. Indeed, CharTec now serves over 700 partners – at the start of 2010, it served fewer than 200.

The new CharTec “Academy” facility will offer IT service company CEOs, CFOs and CTOs “highly focused business practice education” in two-day session each month, according to the company. Applicants will be screened based on personal and business credit history, business operation statistics, and annual revenue.

Another attraction for CharTec partners and Academy attendees is the opportunity to tour and experience a successful working MSP practice (ARRC Technology) that operates in an adjacent facility. CharTec wants its partners to experience new technologies, such as VoIP, backup and disaster recovery, tele-presence, digital signage, mobile computing, email, network, internet and IP Security, help desk and NOC services, and RMM solutions.

“For CharTec partners, Academies are an ideal way to receive training, exposure, and tools to be able to succeed as an MSP in today’s business climate,” says CharTec CEO Alex Rogers. “For vendors, it’s an excellent environment to present their company to a sophisticated and highly focused audience.”
