Lenovo has added the TS130 and the TS430 to the ThinkServer line, geared towards SMBs and corporate branch offices. Featuring Intel Xeon processor technology, the new products offer a performance boost and remote management tools, as well as easy setup.
The new servers are ideal for retail and small offices, offering RAID and storage configurations for growing businesses. Remote manageability features efficiently manage customers’ networks, making the servers ideal for MSPs. The TS130 comes with Intel AMT 7.0 manageability tools and onboard RAID. The TS430 offers 16TB of hot swap storage capacity, and is rackable with front-side drive access.
Features of the TS130 and TS430 include:
- Intel Xeon E3-1200 processors for 30 percent better performance over previous generation
- Data backup options, such as LTO and RDX tape storage
- UPS for network protection and battery backup
- Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Essentials or Standard
