Zultys, a unified communications provider, has launched the MX Release 6.0, the next generation of software for its flagship UC product series, available through its channel partners. MX Release 6.0 offers desktop video, mobility features, integration with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange, as well as integration with Salesforce.com.
Video Capabilities
Video conferencing is especially vital as companies increase their number of teleworkers and expand globally. According to Forrester Research, 56 percent of small-to-medium sized enterprises have or plan to deploy video in the near term.† The latest release incorporates MXvideo, which provides integrated point-to-point HD video for Zultys’ MXIE desktop Unified Communications client. MXmobile is designed to integrate mobile workers into the corporate voice and unified communications system. A real-time unified communications client, MXmobile provides mobility with presence, instant messaging, call handling and more, essentially transforming your customer’s handheld mobile device into a desktop IP business phone. MXmobile feature enhancements include:
- Call transfer, manually or via local BlackBerry address book or corporate MX directory

Integration With Salesforce.com and Microsoft
MX Release 6.0 also offers integration with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange server. The Zultys Salesforce.com Communicator integrates the Zultys IP Phone System and the Salesforce.com CRM application suite for full call control from within the contact record, and includes capturing call notes, providing inbound contact record screen pop, executing holds and transfers, and click-to-call capabilities.
Likewise, the Zultys Outlook Communicator provides integration between the Zultys IP Phone System and Microsoft Outlook. Users have full call control from within Outlook, and can execute calls directly from Outlook. The product also synchronizes presence with the Outlook calendar, and users may change presence directly from Outlook.
Boosting Your Customer’s Customer Service

The Zultys Message Escalation feature of MX Release 6.0 improves customer service and business operations for companies providing time-critical customer services and care. The Zultys Message Escalation ensures a 100 percent receipt of company voicemails and faxes through a customizable chain of e-mail and voice call alerts that continue until action is taken on the voicemail or fax.
