The black-and-white Phaser models are designed to large workgroups, and they are meant to replace the older models in the Phaser line.
Xerox is helping SMBs ramp up productivity with two new black-and-white printer models. According to Xerox, the new models boast print speeds of 55 to 65 pages per minute.
The new Xerox Phaser 4600 and Phaser 4620 printers replace the Phaser 4510 in Xerox’s black-and-white printer portfolio.
The new models are designed for large workgroups, according to Xerox. They print on a wide range of media, from transparencies to cardstock to labels. Moreover, they feature an optional 500-sheet finisher with stapler and additional paper trays.
New security features, such Secure Print and Image Overide, electronically “shred” information sent to and stored on the printer’s optional hard drive. These security features play well with the models’ built-in wireless capabilities.
The printers are ENERGY STAR-qualified and backed by the Xerox Total Satisfaction Guarantee. The Phaser 4600 and Phaser 4620 are available immediately worldwide, starting at $1,099 (estimated retail price) through Xerox direct sales, agents, resellers and dealers, and concessionaires or directly from Xerox.
