Autotask Takes Its Outreach Push to SMB Nation Fall
The host IT management platform innovator is touting broader access to knowledge and peer networking via its CommunITy channel forum.
Today at SMB Nation Fall in Las Vegas, Autotask Corp. launched its CommunITy Rocks outreach program.
The program is part of an effort from Autotask Corp. to expand its online knowledgebase and “share IT service and solution provider best practices and IT business management tips,” according to the company.
Autotask, maker of hosted IT business management platforms, has designed the new outreach program to consist of face-to-face user sessions and live training sessions. The company is conducting two live training sessions at SMB Nation Fall this week, and it is also honoring the winners of the company’s first annual Autotask Rock Star Awards program.
“We launched this program as a way to bring top contributors and leaders from our Autotask Community face-to-face with new and prospective Autotask customers,” says Mark Crall, Autotask’s executive director of community development.
The face-to-face user “Jam Sessions” will be held this year at more than seven locations around the U.S. (another two will be held globally). †
In addition, Autotask customers are able to access online content, conduct live chats with peers, and choose from various free online Cloud and Managed Services best practice training sessions available through the Autotask Academy.†
Autotask CEO Bob Godgart says the company’s CommunITy is “unlike any other peer group or partner community in this industry.” The initiative to push the program comes, he says, from the company’s wanting to help partners “seek each other out and work together to build thriving and successful IT businesses.”
