Channel distributor D&H Distributing will conduct its Mid-Atlantic Summer Technology Trade Show this week. On Wednesday, June 9, the distributor will host resellers at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pa. Attendance is expected to reach 1,000.
Registration for the show is free for D&H resellers. At the event, VARs will be eligible for discounts (event day only) and giveaways. One attendee, says D&H, will win a Grand Prize 46-inch Sony BRAVIA EX Series HDTV. Each seminar will also give an 8 GB Trio media player to an attendee.
In addition, D&H is complementing its “Win a Microsoft Office Makeover” campaign, awarding a single attendee an Office Makeover package, complete with a Microsoft Office 2010 edition, networking software, equipment, appliances, and/or peripherals.†
At the event itself, attendees will D&H’s Microsoft Office 2010 workplace display, the Cisco NOWVan (Network on Wheels), attend seminars, network with other VARs, and visit the booths of nearly 150 vendors on the showfloor, which will include “The Greenhouse” and an Emerging Technologies Aisle.
“The Greenhouse” will feature 14 booths full of environmentally-friendly solutions from Antec, Belkin, HP, Logitech, Lenovo, Startech.com, Intel, Western Digital, and the D&H Server Solutions Specialists
Seminars will begin at 12:30 p.m. and extend until 7:15 p.m. The day’s schedule includes seven sessions (from Cisco, Lenovo, Intel, HP and CompTIA), plus to two individual Microsoft offerings. The exhibit hall will remain open until 9:00 p.m.†
