CommVault and Avnet Sign Distribution Agreement
SolutionsPath offerings and other backup and recovery innovations are now available throughout North America via the technology distributor.
Backup and recovery innovator CommVault is expanding its distribution channel through a partnership with Avent Technology Solutions, the company told EH Publishing in a press release last week.
CommVault says the distribution agreement provides its so-called PartnerAdvantage reseller partners with the ability to purchase Simpana software from Avnet while also gaining access to CommVault’s SolutionsPath offerings.
†”CommVault will work with Avnet to assist both existing and future reseller partners in solving customers’ toughest data and information management problems with integrated solutions,” states CommVault’s press release.
CommVault senior director of North American channels Mark Conley says the distribution agreement is part of his company’s “channel-centric strategy.”
