The new Vaio W Series Eco Edition 212AX mini notebook employs a reprocessed plastic chassis comprised of approximately 20 percent recycled CDs. It also comes in a reusable carrying-case made from recycled PET bottles-there’s no wasted cardboard packaging, the company says.

The Vaio W Series comes standard with a 250 GB hard drive, the Windows 7 Starter OS, and an HD (1366×768) 10.1-inch LED backlit widescreen display.
The VAIO W Series Eco Edition comes in sugar white with a translucent green interior.
It also comes with parental controls built-in.
Sony claims users can get up to seven hours of use on a single charge.\
