Biostar Unveils Latest GeForce Graphics Card
The GT240 series employs 96 CUDA processing cores, enabling such GPU-accelerated applications as MotionDSP vReveal, Cyberlink MediaShow with Face tagging, and others.
Biostar Corp., a graphics card manufacturer, has announced the GeForce GT240 series graphics card, the VN2403THG1.†
Biostar says the GeForce GT240 GPU is based on a 40-nm manufacturing process, which is also used in making GeForce 210 and GeForce GT220 GPUs.
The Biostar VN2403THG1 employs 96 CUDA processing cores. A Biostar press release says the configuration “can make you enjoy faster and smoother gaming on Windows 7.” The configuration also enables such GPU-accelerated applications as MotionDSP vReveal, Cyberlink MediaShow with Face tagging, and many others, all support for the latest DirectX 10.1 multimedia gaming standards–and even supporting native HDMI output.†
