StreetSmart Adds Conference-Calling Capabilities
InfoStreet updates its flagship management software for SMBs, StreetSmart, with a calendar-integrated conference-calling platform.
InfoStreet Inc., a SaaS provider, has rolled out a new feature for its flagship StreetSmart suite of Web-based business management software for SMBs. InfoStreet will now integrate a conference-calling platform into a calendar application.
According to a corporate press release, integrating a conference-calling system with a calendar application makes sense for the end-user. “Now, when users go to plan a meeting or send a meeting request/invite,” says InfoStreet, “a single click will allow them to automatically have a conference number and call ID generated and included in the invite.”
Moreover, the system will maintain conference call details so that reminders for recurring meetings will be easy to send off.
Calendared items can also be synchronized with Outlook, Palm, and Pocket PCs.
InfoStreet’s Siamak Farah, CEO, says that today’s work environments are “all about collaboration.” He says, “Whether it is collaboration with colleagues or clients or perspective customers, having the ability to connect people together easily is paramount.”
