Pay-as-you-go managed service platform is powered by Kaseya, and is available to ASCII members.
The ASCII Group Inc. has announced that its ASCII MSP Fuel is in Beta, and the product is available to ASCII members.
According to The ASCII Group Inc.– a sizeable community of independent computer resellers–ASCII MSP Fuel provides “the juice you need to get into offering managed services.”
More specifically, the solution is “powered” by Kaseya, an IT managed services software provider. ASCII MSP Fuel aims to reduce on-site visits and increase recurring revenue.
Some of the features of the solution include: remote control, monitoring, patching, help desk, time control, billing, and reporting. Without any hardware or software, the solution “deploys in minutes,” according to The ASCII Group.
In addition, ASCII MSP Fuel includes a number of tools, templates, and training developed to help “jumpstart a managed service business,” according to The ASCII Group.
“We recognized the value managed services played for our community at the very early stages,” says Jerry Koutavas, president of The ASCII Group. “This is another ongoing effort by ASCII to reinforce and help our members move in the right direction if they have not already implemented a managed services strategy today.”
Microsoft SMB specialist Robert Belon has employed the Beta version of ASCII MSP Fuel and reports good things. “ASCII made it affordable and easy for [the company] to get into managed services. With no upfront investment on software or hardware, it was easy to get started.”
For its part, Kaseya stands to benefit from the product as well. “We are pleased that ASCII chose our Software-as-a-Service engine to empower their solution and their audience,” says Kaseya CEO Gerald Blackie.
