Three new models received Five Star/Exceptional rating from BERTL, Inc.

Fairfield, N.J.-based Kyocera Mita America, Inc., a document solutions company, announced the availability of the TASKalfa 750c series of color Multifunctional Products (MFPs) designed for fast-paced business environments. The TASKalfa 750c series offers high-speed color printing, copying, scanning, and optional faxing to provide reliable, with an easy to use interface.

The TASKalfa 750c models include the TASKalfa 750c (75 pages-per-minute black/65ppm color), the TASKalfa 650c (65 ppm black/65 ppm color), and the TASKalfa 550c (55ppm black/55 ppm color).

The TASKalfa 750c series comes to market with BERTL’s Five Star/Exceptional ratings for each of the three models based on product testing by BERTL Labs. BERTL, Inc. is a news, research, and analysis service for the office technology industry. To receive these rankings, each model was evaluated, tested, and analyzed to gauge performance, capability, and reliability. In recognizing the TASKalfa 750c series with Five Star/Exceptional ratings, BERTL noted the TASKalfa 750c, TASKalfa 650c and the TASKalfa 550c for vibrant color strength, superior image consistency, and long-lasting reliability under strong testing conditions. BERTL’s Five Star/Exceptional testing further acknowledged that the TASKalfa 750c series offers numerous features to address an array of jobs with excellent results.

The TASKalfa 750c series has a 10.4-inch color touch screen control panel and comes with standard duplex, 3,500 sheets of standard paper capacity that is upgradeable to 6,000 sheets, and flexible finishing options. The series can accommodate heavier paper stock, and sizes up to 140lb Index and 12″ x 18″ through the paper trays as well as 110lb cover, 13″ x 19″, and banner printing support thru the multi-purpose tray.

For organizations seeking advanced control of their color output, the TASKalfa 750c series offers optional EFI Fiery controller technology to bring advanced color features, such as sophisticated queue management, an intuitive user interface and additional EFI components for broader functionality.

To address needs across the network, the TASKalfa 750c series offers cross-platform compatibility, and connectivity to Windows, Mac, and UNIX. The series offers an optional Super 3G fax system and dual-line fax support for high-speed document transmission. Duty cycles are 275,000 for the TASKalfa 750c, 250,000 for the TASKalfa 650c, and 225,000 for the TASKalfa 550c. The MFPs also come standard with a USB host interface for print-from and scan-to any USB drive in PDF, JPEG, and XPS file formats–all via the touch screen control panel.

The TASKalfa 750c series further comes standard with an 80GB hard disk drive, a PowerPC FreeScale 7448/1.2 GHz processor, and offers a standard 100-sheet Reversing Automatic Document Processor with scan speeds up 77 images per minute at 300 dpi.
