IT solutions distributor, Avnet Technology Solutions, has launched the Avnet Cloud Toolset (ACT), a component of Avnet Cloud Solutions designed to help MSP and VAR partners in the U.S. and Canada govern, consolidate, manage, and track cloud accounts across multiple cloud providers. With the toolset, partners will be able to ensure that their Amazon Web Services (AWS) and (IBM) SoftLayer customers are provided with visibility into cloud spending and invoices that accurately track individual and aggregate cloud usage for their organizations, helping them to optimize their enterprise-wide AWS and SoftLayer spend.

ACT helps partners track actual usage charges across every major service category for AWS and SoftLayer, generate bills and invoices, package in their own subscription-based services, define how usage charges are billed, and incorporate third-party services. ACT features intuitive dashboards and customizable reports to provide an aggregated view for partners to track all cloud service usage across their accounts and share this information with their customers.
