Moovila is giving MSPs a faster, smarter way to launch and manage projects. The Charleston, SC-based company this week unveiled Project Hub, a built-in library of ready-to-use templates to automate and simplify project management.
Developed in collaboration with MSP users, Project Hub provides downloadable starter templates for common project types, such as customer onboarding, cloud migrations, and network upgrades. Each standardized template includes detailed task outlines, dependencies, and time estimates.
Built directly into the Moovila platform, Project Hub is available to partners at no extra cost. It doesn’t require separate PSA integrations because Moovila already integrates with all major PSAs. Regardless of their current platform, partners can access it within Moovila to view and customize templates with no special setup, configuration, or compatibility concerns.
The goal is to help partners start strong and maintain consistency. “The need for Project Hub became clear through consistent customer feedback over the years,” said Moovila CEO Mike Psenka. “This gives every team, regardless of size, a foundation they can build on.”
Tackling the Structure Gap in MSP Projects
According to Moovila research, 59% of MSPs cite scope creep as their biggest project challenge, and more than half struggle with inaccurate timelines. Those issues, Psenka said, stem from a deeper problem.

“Beyond scope creep and timeline accuracy, we’ve seen that many MSPs lack the basic structure and standardized processes needed to deliver consistent results,” Psenka told ChannelPro. “It was clear they were looking for a foundation to work from.”
He added that Project Hub helps teams run projects the right way from the start. This brings visibility to timelines, risks, and dependencies so MSPs can maintain accuracy and protect profitability. “This foundation becomes even more critical as MSPs mature,” he said. “The way projects are managed directly impacts their ability to scale and increase revenue.”
Built with MSPs for MSPs
From the start, user input shaped every feature. Psenka said his team spoke with numerous MSPs at conferences, user events, and training sessions. These partners repeatedly asked for templates that mirrored their real-world workflows.
“With everything we do, we started by listening, and MSP input was essential in shaping the first release,” Psenka explained. “We then worked closely with them to gain a better understanding of how they run projects, ensuring that the templates reflected their real operational processes — not theoretical ones.”
As it developed, Moovila even used Project Hub internally for client onboarding, validating designs before the public launch. This collaborative approach resulted in practical templates that MSPs can use and customize, he added.
Faster Projects, Stronger Profit Margins
Though the platform is just being introduced publicly, early users have already reported significant time savings. “Structured project templates solve a major pain point for MSPs who currently spend significant time creating templates from scratch,” Psenka said. “The enthusiasm we’re seeing validates that we’re addressing a real need in the market.”
Moovila plans to track several metrics as it rolls out to customers and partners. The time savings are expected to improve both efficiency and profitability, as MSPs can set up common projects faster and focus on higher-value work, Psenka said.
Looking Ahead: A Community-driven Library
At launch, Project Hub includes several of the most frequently run MSP project types. Next, Moovila plans to expand the library quickly.
In later phases, MSPs will be able to contribute their own templates and share best practices, Psenka said. “These starter templates are another way we’re helping MSPs deliver projects predictably, profitably, and without chaos, giving them the foundation they need to run successful projects.”
Currently, MSPs can submit their own templates to the Moovila team. The team will vet those recommendations, remove proprietary information, and publish them with proper attribution.
There’s no timeline yet for direct publishing, but over time, MSPs and group leaders will gain the ability to publish and manage templates. “MSPs naturally share knowledge in every community they’re part of. By offering this functionality without cost barriers, we’re laying the foundation for it to become truly community-driven over time.”
This phased approach, Psenka noted, ensures quality while allowing the platform to evolve based on user feedback. “The starter templates are just the beginning. The real value will emerge as MSPs contribute and share their expertise with one another.”
